Artist's Comments
This one is a few months old now, but I still think it's kinda cool.
Originally the background consisted of some fancy-scripted lyrics and not a lot else, and as much as I liked that version ... it looked a little plain. So I had the idea to have Pins busting out of the laboratory that he, Needles, Comedy and Tragedy were created in. The chain he's holding is the same one often used to restrain him from lashing out - he managed to overpower the crazy scientist people and kick the crap out of them with it, and now he's just trashing all their equipment before going to set the other guys free. Just as a random fact about Pins, he throws this chain away afterward, but when he's working for the supernatural crimefighting thing, his weapon of choice is a chain. xD The orange light is like, the last bit of sunshine. Kinda looks like a funky glow though, and I like it. C: I'm pleased with how Pins came out overall; the pose was challenging to say the least. xD His legs were a pain in the ass, and trying to shape his arms the right way was a nightmare. His face just stuck from the beginning; it had that kinda cold, detached look that I was searching for, but wouldn't associate with Pins that much. Also. I love drawing his tail. :'D This is my first time drawing wires and tubes and all that kind of stuff, so I probably didn't do to well with that area. Must admit this is as "Sci-fi" as my art's ever gotten lol.
